The Training and Learning Centre is a modern working building situated just behind The Portsmouth Academy which offers a large meeting room as well as various conference rooms to host your next event. 

Whether you’re looking to upskill your staff, provide some training or just gather your team in a professional environment, The Training and Learning Centre could be the perfect place to deliver what you need. 

Our meeting room comfortably accommodates 8-10 people, which we can configure into different layouts for you. Amenities include an interactive whiteboard, video conferencing facilities, Wi-Fi and hot drink refreshments (on request). 

We also have two other different training rooms to host your next presentation, skills session or away day which is also complete with Wi-Fi and an interactive whiteboard. 

With each room, you can book by the hour, or hire out the facility for a half, or even full day. You can also complete your full day booking with a lunch provision. 

There is ample street parking on surrounding roads, but visitors should be aware this is residents-only during the hours of 4:00-6:00pm. 

The Training and Learning Centre is served by numerous bus links with Stagecoach’s 14 and 21, as well as First Bus's 18 services all run to-and-from Portsmouth City Centre. If arriving by rail, Fratton station is a 15–20-minute walk and trains run frequently from London, Brighton and Southampton.
