A message for our Year 7 parents and carers:
Year 7 Meet the Tutor Evening.
This event provides an opportunity for you to meet your child's form tutor, who will be supporting them throughout the academic year. It is also a chance to find out how your child has settled into Year 7, learn more about life at The Portsmouth Academy, and ask any questions you may have about the year ahead.
Allergy Awareness:
To help keep all pupils safe, please ensure the school has up-to-date information about any allergies your child may have. Accurate allergy information enables us to put appropriate support plans in place, train staff effectively, and respond quickly in an emergency. We all have a part to play in creating a safe environment, including following our nut-aware policy and being mindful of the food brought into school. If your child has an allergy, please contact the school or update their details via Arbor. Be Allergy Aware Posters for AAW25
The Portsmouth Academy provides an education to our students not just to support their academic progress but to develop them to grow into self-reflective learners who have the knowledge and skills to become valuable members of any community.
We believe strongly in nurturing children throughout their time at The Portsmouth Academy to build positive habits, develop an awareness of their strengths and support them in developing areas they would like to improve. We work with them so that they are aspirational and ready for their next steps and, most importantly, understand their role and place both within their local community and beyond.
