This is a tremendous achievement and well deserved recognition for the reading team, who have begun a ‘reading revolution’ at the school!
The pandemic led to significant gaps in reading ability for our Year 7s and Year 8s, which could limit their life chances if they are not being closed. The team designed a curriculum based around reading for Year 7. They have been innovated by using technology to “level the playing field” in terms of access.
