To help keep all pupils safe, please ensure the school has up-to-date information about any allergies your child may have. Accurate allergy information enables us to put appropriate support plans in place, train staff effectively, and respond quickly in an emergency. We all have a part to play in creating a safe environment, including following our nut-aware policy and being mindful of the food brought into school. If your child has an allergy, please contact the school or update their details via Arbor. Be Allergy Aware Posters for AAW25

Online Safety

Online safety is a major concern for many parents, especially as our children sometimes seem to be more knowledgeable about computers, phones and other gadgets than we are.

Pupils are taught about online safety at The Portsmouth Academy in Personal Development (PD) lessons and encouraged to be careful online, and taught ways to keep safe.  Our internet is restricted, and pupils cannot access inappropriate sites from our PCs.

Here are some  links and documents  to help parents.  If you wish to discuss any concerns personally with the school, please contact the school via info@theportsmouthacademy.org.uk

TSAT Online Safety Hub

Our Children are growing up in a digital age, with access to countless online resources. Exciting as this can be, as with everything, the internet has its challenges, opening the doors to cyberbullying, scams, non-age-appropriate content and more. We all have a part to play in keeping children safe online.

With that being said, we are thrilled to launch our new and improved Online Safety Hub , available to staff and parents.
