Following the resounding success of Black History Month 2021, the Thinking Schools Academy Trust are thrilled to bring back the inspirational and creative BHM Art Competition to celebrate Black History and Culture for Black History Month 2022.
The theme for this year is “Action not Words”.
Individual and group projects representing “Action no Words” are welcomed. We invite students and staff across the Trust to submit a piece of art focused on this theme. This is the third Black History Month Art competition ran by the Trust and it gives our community of students and staff a chance to use the Trust’s platforms to showcase their artistic talents and celebrate black people in both modern and past history.
All entries will be displayed in our online virtual gallery with the judge’s favourites chosen to be displayed in a public display. (Information to follow)
.
This year we are delighted to be introducing a third category to enter the competition, running alongside the Primary and Secondary categories. This year, we are inviting our staff to join in and showcase their artist talents too.
