A message for our Year 7 parents and carers:
Year 7 Meet the Tutor Evening.
This event provides an opportunity for you to meet your child's form tutor, who will be supporting them throughout the academic year. It is also a chance to find out how your child has settled into Year 7, learn more about life at The Portsmouth Academy, and ask any questions you may have about the year ahead.
Allergy Awareness:
To help keep all pupils safe, please ensure the school has up-to-date information about any allergies your child may have. Accurate allergy information enables us to put appropriate support plans in place, train staff effectively, and respond quickly in an emergency. We all have a part to play in creating a safe environment, including following our nut-aware policy and being mindful of the food brought into school. If your child has an allergy, please contact the school or update their details via Arbor. Be Allergy Aware Posters for AAW25
The Thinking Schools Academy Trust comes together for our first #WeAreOne event of the academic year, by celebrating Black History and Culture.
The theme for this year is Action not words. To get to a better tomorrow, we can’t just focus on the past. The past is in the past. We can acknowledge and learn from it, but to improve the future, we need action, not words. The theme is to unite everyone for a bigger purpose, demonstrating our support past the celebration of Black History Month.
We want to make a change that sticks.
Alongside the annual art competition, schools will each make a pledge towards an action to tackle discrimination and promote equality.
